unofix. You have to open the passenger door (RHD cars) so the the bonnet release handle can be pulled fully back ( Twice) to unlatch the bonnet catch. On LHD cars it is of course the drivers door which makes more sense. With the door closed the handle can not be pulled fully back and so the latch will not release.

Posted March 17, 2013. bonnet switch is the most common reason for alarms going off, diasgnostic will show whats triggered last 5 alarms. switch can be disconnected, from memory, think you have to wire the terminals together to fool alarm that bonnet is closed, till you get switch repaired/replaced. Engine Malfunction Warning i, I had an engine malfunction light come on, 2011 kuga diagnostics revealed DPF filter and soot accumulation, so a new filter fitted, new sensor and pipes cleaned. i wanted to check my oil today and went to the front of my ford kuga. i was able to push the two little rubber sides on my key chain and pop off the ford emblem and get my key. pushed open the front ford emblem. popped in the key and using my key thingy, turned the key left 90 degrees until the lock went click.
4,376. 2 Jul 2018. #9. @KaraokeMidget once you pop the bonnet. If the secondary lever is not working. you should be able to lift the bonnet up abit enough to get a long thin screwdriver in and push the secondary catch on the bonnet release mechanism over to open the bonnet fully. Cheers.
Sounds like your battery is completely discharged which is bad for it so should get a replacement under warranty. The updates are to the following modules (software version in brackets) TCU (SH) PCM (ERP), ABS (NT), SOBDM (AL), BECM (DF) and SOBDCM (GN). It takes 3 hours plus the 12v battery check.
same problem hand book tells you nothing downloaded the full manual 500 odd pages same thing all it has is the diagrams and what does what, under the bonnet one is how to etc but how to take the kick plate off zilch, doing the same thing as you, you can drop the glove box right out but still no fuse box
There is no need to start the engine to complete the reset of the warning light. Immediately after, enter the onboard computer menu and select "Settings".
