Controller key bindings. Game won't let me change brake axis, look up-down axis etc. It's just blanked out. In keys & buttons options i can't change keys for controller. I have ps4 and ps5 controller. These worked just fine previously (had couple of month brake from game). In steam options for controller i have playstation configuration support so i got my G29 working and there were set automatically Keys & Buttons in game and i was changing some of them and then i pressed reset to default and it all dissapeared how can i get all settings automatically again ? The only thing working is the real automatic shifter, pedals and wheel turning no other buttons are working do i have to assign them manually or is there other way to do it ? Seems in ATS I was able to bind my A button on the xbox controller to both "dashboard display mode" and "Activate". Can't seem to do this in ETS2. How would I go about doing this? If you directly edit controls.sii, nothing stops you binding the same input to two actions if you wish. that is the file where all you setting of key binding for this game, thank you. < > Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\\controls.sii This opens up a whole new world of key bind combinations for you to use, allowing for more binding options, but that's not all! You will also now have the options to bind short press and long press key. Holding the key down will be recognised as a long press, and pressing a button as normal will be seen as a short press. When you go to the "Controls" section of the options, at the very top it should let you choose different input methods. The first drop down menu should say "keyboard", then if you click it, it should have options such as "keyboard+XBOX 360 controller" or "keyboard+Xinput". Do you see those options? Most people find it best with the Xinput option. OKohB7. A listing of ALL the default keyboard settings. Print-out for quick reference or write in your keybinding changes. Award. Ok, I stumbled across a thread where 'Max' gave some advice on deleting some keyboard bindings then re-configuring the paddles on the wheel that worked. Looks like ETS2 assumes you will be using keyboard controls by default (wot!) instead of a wheel and pedals (a bit worrying that for a driving sim ) Edit: OK, I think I get how this works G920 Key Bindings. Ok this is for experienced drivers. I just got my wheel and would like some recommendations from you guys on how you have your wheel keys setup. I know it all come down to preference but at least your recommendations will give me a good starting point. I have no H-Shifter yet. Showing 1 - 8 of 8 comments. Euro Truck Simulator 2 is for a beginner using a keyboard as well as for an experienced player having a steering wheel. When you create your profile, select your controller and type of gearbox. The tables below presents default controls. I am no expert on these things but any QWERTY keyboard should work, right? What language have you set when you try to play?
